The Board of Directors of the El Paso County Appraisal District provides governance and sets policies for property appraisals across El Paso County CAD. Composed of representatives appointed or elected by local taxing entities, the board ensures compliance with Texas property tax laws while advocating for the community’s interests. Additionally, the Chief Appraiser manages the appraisal office, oversees staff, and ensures all legal requirements are met.
