    Property taxes become delinquent. A 6% penalty and a 1% interest fee are applied to the outstanding balance, with additional interest accruing each month the taxes remain unpaid.
  • April 1
    Deadline for business personal property owners to file renditions or request an extension with the McLennan County Appraisal District.
  • April 15
    If an extension was granted, this is the final day to file business personal property renditions.
  • April 30
    Last day to apply for various property tax exemptions, including Homestead, Over-65, Disability, and others, through the McLennan County Tax Appraisal Office.
